I hope that 2024 has proven to be prosperous so far. As our industry continues to evolve, I believe that each year is filled with even more promise and opportunity.
Reflecting on the challenges we have faced over the past years and presently, it’s remarkable to see the resilience and adaptability displayed by dealers across the state. Our business continues to show remarkable growth and profitability.
In navigating the twists and turns of our industry, it’s essential that we maintain close ties with our state legislators. By fostering strong relationships with those who shape policy, we can ensure that the laws enacted safeguard our franchise rights and strengthen our businesses.
The unwavering support of your state and national associations — KADA and NADA — remains instrumental as we chart our course ahead. When we come together to leverage our collective strength, we create an even more powerful voice. This voice carries significant weight in shaping the regulatory environment. And rest assured that both NADA and KADA are working hard on behalf of the dealer body — under the pronounced leadership of Mike Stanton at NADA and Jason Wilson at KADA.
As we look ahead to the future, we anticipate rapid change and innovation. From shifting consumer preferences to emerging market trends, staying up to date on these developments is essential for staying ahead of the curve. The greater presence we have with our OEMs, employees and legislators, the more successful we will be at navigating the road ahead.
This year’s NADA Show in Las Vegas was a resounding success, a testament to the strength of our industry and the camaraderie within it. As we eagerly anticipate next year’s show in New Orleans, Jan. 23-26, 2025, let’s seize the opportunity to connect, learn and grow together.
