Giving Back to “Shop With a Cop”

Representatives from the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, Dry Ridge Police Department and Kentucky State Police Post 6 were present to accept Marshall Auto Group’s annual gift to the “Shop With a Cop” organization. The donation helped children in need have a warm and merry holiday season.

Sponsoring Multisensory Wall in Clifton

Oxmoor Auto Group is one of the sponsors of the multisensory wall that is being built by the Kentucky School for the Blind Charitable Foundation in Banks Common Park. The artwork will be installed on a curved, sculptural wall and will have a tactile nature. Various accessibility provisions, including on-site braille descriptions and online verbal descriptions, will allow blind and visually impaired people to engage with and appreciate the project.

Supporting Special Olympics Kentucky

Christmas is a time for love, and Bachman Subaru believes love is meant to be shared. During the 2024 Subaru Share the Love Event, Bachman Subaru donated $75 to the Special Olympics Kentucky for each new Subaru sold or leased, empowering athletes with intellectual disabilities right here in Louisville and across Kentucky. Over the past 12 years, through this program, Bachman Subaru has contributed more than $340,000 to benefit athletes!

Helping to Heal the Community

Through the many giving initiatives of Bonnie Quantrell Jones, her family and the Quantrell Auto Group, a lasting impact has been made in the lives of many individuals and organizations. Their partnership with the Hope Center, in Lexington, has helped to build and improve the center’s facilities over the years, providing emergency shelter, outreach, recovery and so much more. In 2002, the Ball-Quantrell Jones Women’s Center for Recovery opened, providing a safe space for hundreds of women to heal, reclaim their dignity and find hope in recovery from addiction.

The generosity and philanthropy have been a cornerstone in keeping the Hope Center’s doors open and its mission alive. The latest contribution helps support the construction of the new Veterans and Transitional Housing building, called The Quantrell Jones Center, which is due to open its doors in 2025.

The 35th Annual Mustang & Open Car Show was held in October at Bill Collins Ford. The event was one to remember for car enthusiasts and the community alike. All proceeds from the event benefitted the Bill Collins Parkinson’s Foundation, Crusade for Children and Active Heroes.

Finding Furry Friends Forever Families

The Bob Allen Motor Mall Pet of the Week helps highlight homeless animals in efforts to help them get adopted. Working in conjunction with the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society, the Bob Allen Motor Mall is doing its part to make sure our furry friends have bright futures.

Giving Relief to Hurricane Helene Victims

Travis and Rachel Padgett Flaherty of Flaherty Chevrolet donated $5,000 in generators that were sent to help hurricane victims in North Carolina. In addition, they set up a drop point to accept relief items that were delivered by local citizens.

Volunteering for Animals in Need

Swope team members had such an amazing time volunteering with Nolin River Wildlife! It was so rewarding to help clean up the facility and support the animals in need. They do such important work, and the team was grateful to be a part of it! Thank you to all of the staff who were able to participate.

Supporting the USO Fort Campbell Troops

In August, Patriot Chevrolet Buick GMC of Hopkinsville served up delicious tacos to the service members at USO Fort Campbell during their riveting rounds of bingo. Thank you to Tender Paws Animal Therapy for bringing the beautiful dog for the guests to love on. And, as always, a huge thank you to the volunteers for providing such great service to the guests.

Then in September, Patriot Chevrolet Buick GMC of Hopkinsville hosted the 2024 Auto Wars — Red, White & Ride car show, featuring quite the helpful cleanup crew, with all proceeds benefiting USO Fort Campbell!

The Healing Place Louisville was so grateful to the Oxmoor Auto Group for their donation! The facility provides food, shelter, clothing and their nationally-recognized sobriety program at no cost to their clients. They are always thankful for Oxmoor Auto Group’s generosity and partnership! Special thanks to Gabrielle and Kenny for going by their Men’s Campus to present the check and take a tour of The Healing Place’s facilities!

Swope team members stepped up to support their DEEP volunteer project for June! Their help in cleaning up the Greenbelt Trail in Elizabethtown was greatly appreciated. It was an absolutely beautiful day to be outside and make a positive impact.

Supporting a Family in Need with a Van Donation

Superior Van and Mobility gave back in a major way. Alongside the Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation, they made a special van delivery to the Wickizer Family and their 7-year-old son, Isaac, who is suffering from muscular dystrophy. With the new vehicle, the Wickizers will be able to more easily get Isaac to appointments, school and other activities.

Donating $50,000 to 50 Animal Shelter and Rescues

Jeff Wyler Automotive Family celebrated their 50th year in business! They hosted a special lunch to show appreciation for their incredible team. At Jeff Wyler, they know that their employees are their No. 1 asset, and none of this would be possible without their hard work and dedication.

As part of their 50th anniversary celebrations, they gave back in a big way — donating a total of $50,000 to 50 local animal shelters and rescues in the communities they serve. During the luncheon, they welcomed their friends from Rescue Me Animal Advocacy and Chico’s Promise, presenting them each with a $1,000 donation to support the amazing work they do.

Standing Up Against Domestic Violence

The Swope Family of Dealerships participated in the Step Out Against Domestic Violence event to support SpringHaven Inc., their local violence prevention and response program. They are so grateful to everyone who joined them for the run/walk and showed their support for such an important cause. A special thank you to Quicksie 98.3, 94.3 The Wolf and Central Kentucky Race Management for helping to make the event a success and to Mrs. Kentucky America for her support in keeping their participants hydrated and nourished.
